Playdate with the Starr's

We went back to Antioch Park over the weekend with some of our favorite friends, the Starr's. It was a hot morning but so nice to spend time with the twins!

The Starr Family - Kristen has Nora and Mark has Iris
Look at Nora go - and her and Mommy's pink shoes, love them!
Sal is looking a little too grown up for his Mommy's taste here!

Look Daddy!

Antioch Park

We spent a wonderful morning at Antioch Park this weekend. What a treasure this park is and worth the short drive. Sal could have run around the little town all day!

Sal loves to run on the bridges of any playstructure, yes run - not walk!

Sal and Daddy at the pond - we didn't think Sal was quite ready to do the stepping stones on his own!

4th of July

Happy 4th of July! We celebrated with a morning in St. Joseph with our friends Pam & George. Sal had his car decorated and got to watch the neighborhood parade. He had so much fun! We didn't stay up for fireworks but as I was rocking him before bed, he would say "thunder" "I hear it" when neighbors were setting off fireworks.

Mmmmm, homemade ice cream!

Sal liked looking at the Fireman Elmo sprinkler, just not when it was running.

George made a great clown for the parade, here he and Sal are exploring the yard and saying hello to Uncle Sam.

Funny guy

Here are just some random funny pictures and videos of Sal lately. He cracks his parents up! Sal is relaxing while watching a show.

Sal welcomed Daddy home one night and got to explore his car. He thought it was a lot of fun. Especially his change cup.

You can tell in the video below that the car going by really got his attention!

Omaha Zoo

We took a short trip to Omaha to visit Sal's Great Grandma Ruth. We had fun taking Grandma out for dinner and Sal shared his binkies with her after dinner. He was a real flirt.Sal and Great Grandma Ruth
This is what all the fuss is about - Sal LOVED the shark tank in the aquarium. We could have spent the whole morning in there, okay we spent most of the morning in there! Sal walked through the tank doing the "more" sign - more sharks and fish please! How could we say no?

I don't know where that darn shark went?

Fuzzy picture but lots of joy!

Wow....look at that!

Daddy helped Sal get even closer to the action.

Daddy and Sal - something has captivated Sal's attention. Sharky?

Here's Mom and Sal with the giraffe. Nothing else beat the shark tank!
