Choooo Chooooo!

Over the past month or so, Salvador has developed a love of trains. He loves to say "choo choo" whenever he sees or hears one and he knows all the places to look for them on the road between here and Grandma's house. We thought he might enjoy A Day with Thomas the Train so we took a family trip to Baldwin for a really nice morning out!Daddy and Sal pose with Thomas the Train.

Sal really liked the Imagination tent with the cool train tables and trains. He wasn't thrilled when it was time to go!

Once on board the train, Sal spent most of the ride with his head on Daddy's shoulder. The whistle was really loud and he would squeeze his eyes shut whenever it blew.

Wow, that's loud!
Family Photo on the train ride.

There was a fire engine there too - another favorite - and Sal got to see inside and steer. What a treat!

Swimming and Slides

Sal enjoyed a Friday swim with Aunt Mare Mare and Uncle Paul. The water was still a little chilly and Sal kept saying cold, cold when he was in. Warmer days are coming buddy!Sal began Swim Lessons on June 1st. He is warming up to the concept pretty quickly and likes to now practice blowing bubbles in the bathtub. He went under for the first time today and did really well. Mommy and Sal are having a great time!Sal on his first day of Swim Lessons

Sal enjoys our trips to the park and loves to climb and slide! Here is a weekend trip to the park with Daddy!I can manage the small ones on my own!

What fun - that was a big one!

Ready, set, go!

Wheee Daddy!

Farm Fest!

We enjoyed FarmFest at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead. Aunt Mary and Uncle Paul went along as well. It was a pretty warm evening as you can tell but we all had a great time and Aunt Mare provided lots of great pictures!
Sal enjoyed the playground with Daddy and Uncle, while we waited in the food line! The Valera Family at FarmFest 2009
Sal loves the cow bells and was really trying to figure this one out!
