Boo!

Halloween was SOOOO much fun this year! Sal had such a great time and it is always so delightful to watch him experience things differently each year! He learned about ghosts on the Thomas Halloween DVD we borrowed from the library although he isn't afraid...we have ghosts in the closet, the dryer and his train tunnel. It's very funny and he'll now say "boo" to the tunnel. He was a train conductor which was perfect given his love of trains right now...he enjoyed wearing the costume and you'll see that he made the rounds and we got a lot of good use out of it!

Sal took cupcakes to Granny's work and of course she shared one with him!Sal went to Aunt Mary's work for Halloween fun! He even brought along a train and some track.

Sal stopped by Hy-Vee to show Uncle Paul his costume.
Sal went to a "party" as he called it at Daddy's work on Friday. Daddy played the conductor role this time!

Sal loves plastic pumpkins, here's a little one he found in Daddy's cube!
Sal really liked Daddy's boss' purple pumpkin and of course Jon was nice enough to let him carry it around.

On actual Halloween, we took our little conductor to see the trains at Union Station and to lunch at Fritz's. Daddy was home sick but Aunt Mary and Uncle Paul came along for the fun!

Mom and Dad worked hard on making Sal's Step2 Car into a Thomas, like the true procrastinator she is, Mommy got a late start. It turned out pretty good - most important, Sal really liked it!

Sal had a chance to play with his cousin George when they visited this month.

Here the boys are watching the squirrels out the front window. They have provided lots of entertainment this Fall!Boys and their cars...here the school bus was serving as a car transporter. This picture cracks me up - frog!

Sal and George had fun playing at the Great Mall on a rainy day during their visit.

Pumpkin Patch

We took advantage of a little sunshine on Sunday and went to the Pumpkin Patch at the Louisburg Cider Mill. It was a lot of fun to watch Salvador explore in his own way and to see the difference a year makes.
Sal's favorite attraction was this jungle gym - he loved playing in the "triangle" as he called it.
Sweet profile on a beautiful fall day!

Race for the Cure

Our family was part of Team Uniboober in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Team Uniboober is Aunt Mary's team - we love this uniboober soooo much! We walk and run in loving memory of Grandma Rosa (Herley's Mom) who lost her courageous battle with breast cancer in 2003. We miss her every day! Daddy ran his first 5K!
It was so early, Sal rode in the jogger in his jammies!
