Sal's Adventures

Sal loves to practice standing and often forgets to hold on which keeps Mom and Dad on our toes! The big question is will he walk by his 1st birthday?
Sal spends most Fridays with his Grandpa and Grandma...he has them wrapped around his finger, particulary Grandpa as Sal often reaches for him - even over Mommy!

Hmmm...this is a frequent pose these days. Yoga or the start of a sommersault?
This is Sal's first friend, Sarah. She just turned one! Sal really enjoys playing with her, for months they didn't know the one was there - which didn't stop thier Mommies from getting them together.
Sal's friend Madeline came for a visit last week (he had a very busy social calendar). He was very excited to see her!

Weekend Fun

My dad is sooo funny! Herley and Sal at the Liverpool concert at Sprint.

After 10 months I have this camera thing down, Sal poses for a morning shot - yes, that is a smile under his binkie!
Mmmmm, a messy bitter biscuit and water - a wonderful morning snack, I mean I am headed to the bathtub anyway.
Sal is doing really well with his sippy cup, here he is enjoying a nice drink of water with Daddy after a trip to the park.

The Butter Incident

This is proof that Salvador does have Strong family (Marcia's Mom) blood running through his veins...Sal was trying to pull up on a tv tray Saturday morning and was attacked by a styrofoam plate with pancakes on it, freshly buttered pancakes. Needless to say a bath was in his Saturday plans!

Swimming

The video clip below is from Sal swimming at Aunt Mary and Uncle Paul's neighborhood pool today. Sal had a great time once he got used to the water. Aunt Mare Mare and Uncle P are fun anyway but add water and it's a party!

Father's Day Weekend

Aunt Mary and Uncle Paul let this lion into the house while they were babysitting Saturday night and sweet little Sal thinks it is great!

Whatcha eating Daddy? Wanna share? Sal loves his finger foods and grilled cheese is a favorite - Daddy was nice enough to share his sandwich with Sal!

Sal was all ready for an afternoon barbeque at Uncle Paul and Aunt Mary's house on Saturday - complete with his soccer shades (a gift from Uncle Paul).
