Playtime

We have so much fun with Salvador...here are a few of our recent favorites! Mommy and Sal are learning about play dough. Sal is learning not to put it in his mouth and Mommy is learning not to turn her back for a second when it is out!

Sal and Sarah enjoyed a lunch date of Happy Meals and a little play time at McDonald's. Sweet little Sarah even says "bye Sal" now...it is priceless!

Sal celebrated MLK day with lunch, I mean gellato, at Spin with Aunt Mare Mare and Uncle Paul.

We took Salvador to Fritz's at Crown Center. He liked watching the trains go by.

Sal really likes his chair from Aunt Mare and Uncle Paul, he's such a guy, give him the remote and he'll be all set!

Happy New Year!

We rang in 2009 at home with Sal - a far cry from those days at the Hyatt where Herley proposed....we even dawned party hats and noise makers at dinner. Sal was not sure what all the fuss was about.

New Year's Day we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a delicious dinner. Granny lets Sal eat pretty much whatever he wants, tonight he ate watergate salad for dinner. That and crackers...

Giving Mom the evil eye, he likes when Granny and Mare Mare are in charge!

After dinner, Sal was longing for the car so Grandma brought it inside for him. In turn, he ran around in his diaper - one of her favorite outfits!

Christmas 2008

We celebrated Christmas Eve at Aunt Mary and Uncle Paul's house, along with Grandma and Grandpa.

Sal got a new car from Santa, he rode around in it a lot and even ate his breakfast there!

Our funniest Christmas memory this year is when Sal discovered the cookies that Santa didn't finish on the hearth of the fireplace. He quickly grabbed them and gobbled them up. He had green frosting all over his chin.

December Fun!

December was a lot of fun for our family, minus the colds that were passed from Daddy to Sal to Mommy! Sal and Mommy did a lot of shopping, but as you can see Mommy always made sure there was time for fun too! Sal playing in the cars at the Great Mall - Mommy tried to put money in to make them "go" but Sal didn't like that as well!


All of this shopping can wear a guy out...a sleepy man on the way home!

Aunt Ronnie came though again with another fun holiday shirt, a light up Frosty the Snowman...Sal loved it! Thanks Ronda!

We took Sal to Breakfast with Santa at Hy-Vee. Sal liked Santa from afar but had no interest in sitting with him. Maybe next year!
